This is perfect!
Led by a real-life Marine scientist, this cycle of hands-on lessons will introduce your child to marine ecosystems and their functions.
Each lesson is set in its unique location.
Oct 19 - Nokokmis Beach
Learn about marine paleontology, mangroves, and engage in a shark teeth hunt!
Families can stay and continue the shark teeth hunt.
Oct 26 - Turtle Beach
Learn about turtles and mangrove ecosystems.
Families can stay and enjoy the Siesta Key Scarecrow Stroll.
Nov 9 - City Island Park
Learn about mangrove ecosystem functions & Florida native birds.
Families can extend the visit to Save Our Seabirds.
Nov 16 - Oscar Scherer State Park
Learn about backwater creek ecology and scrub ecosystems.
Families can stay for kayaking or fishing.
Dec 7 - Myakka State Park
Swamp time! Learn about wetland ecosystems.
Families can stay for a boat ride.
Dec 14 - Apollo Beach
Learn about manatees, rays, and other sea animals.
Families can stay for extended manatee viewing times and visit the wildlife observation tower.

The class has a non-refundable registration fee of $50, applied towards the total cost of $250.

The serier requires a non-refundable $50 deposit. It will be applied towards the first class and the rest of the series.

Choose any time slot on the date. The experience is 90 minutes long, 10:00-11:30 am.
Once paid for the whole cycle, there is no need to re-register.
